Obituary of Ruth Cokley

Ruth was a hairdresser for over 50 years. She was very social and loved to help everyone. She always had a cheerful disposition and a kind word. Her family was her pride and joy. In her later years, she enjoyed the VNA Senior Day Center, as well as other senior organizations.Ruth was a longtime member of the YMCA and active volunteer of Steinbeck Center for many years. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law Michael & Jana Youngblood of Salinas son & daughter-in-law Rick & Christina Cokley of Newman Lake, WA grandchildren Steven Cokley of of Nevada Michael, Candiss & Desiree Youngblood of Salinas great-grandson Taylor Cokley of Nevada brothers & sisters Zelta Akin, Jean & Whitey McKee, and Jack Sharp all of the Visalia area preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cokley No services will be held. at Garden of Memories Cemetery Click for Map and Directions
