Obituary of Ignacio Ramirez

Ignacio S. "Welo" Ramirez, a loving husband, adored father and grandfather, died at his Salinas home, Monday, June 30, 2008, in the company of his loving family. He was born July 31, 1918 in Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico. As soon as he married, he and his wife immigrated to the United States. After he made Salinas their permanent home, He worked in several agricultural endeavors throughout his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marta and his seven children; Maria de Jesus, Mary, Juan Manuel, Joe, Ignacio, Jr., Rudy and Carmen. He also had 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
