Obituary of James Bergh
James A. Bergh, 89, of Salinas, passed away peacefully at home on October 31, 2010. Born March 10, 1921 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. James served as a Sargeant for the 275th Infantry Regiment of the U.S. Army in Europe, during World War II. He was a member fo the American Legion Post #31 and of St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Salinas.
He is survived by his Children; MaryAnne (Harold) Sterling of Salinas, Marlene (Kevin) Masuen of Salinas, Carolyn (Joe) Ball of Renton, Washington, and Paul Bergh of Salinas, Grandchildren; Melissa, Matthew, Kyle, Robyn and Cody, Great-Grandchildren; Nathan, Dylan, Daniel, along with numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Preceded in death by his wife Mildred Bergh in 1992.
Visitation will be held
Wednesday, Nov. 3 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. in Salinas.
Funeral Services will be
Thursday, Nov. 4 10am at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church 72 E. San Joaquin in Salinas, CA 93901.
Final Resting Place at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park Watsonville, CA 95076.
