Obituary of Beverly McGregor

Mrs . Beverley Mae Sullivan McGregor, age 76, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at the family residence. She was born November 2, 1931 in Washington, D.C.. The daughter of Herman Huit Sullivan and Brinabee Mae Campbell Sullivan. Mrs McGregor received her Bachelor's Degree in art and history from the University of California at Berkely. Later, she was a volunteer with the American Red Cross in Korea, where she met her future husband. She and Rob Roy McGregor were married January 22, 1956. In 1984, two years before her husband's retirement, they moved to DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Mrs. McGregor trained, exhibited and raced horses. She was very artistic and has several paintings to her credit. Among survivors are her husband, Rob Roy McGregor. Her sons, Rob Roy McGregor, II and wife Lisa; Nico Blair McGregor. Her daughter, Michelle Anne Nasti, all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Her brother, Harry Sullivan of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her brother-in-law, Thomas McGregor and wife Lucille of Longwood, Florida and five grandchildren, Kaylie, Ariel, Aaron, Fiona and Airianna also survive.
