Obituary of Jose Orozco

Jose J. Orozco, 76, of Salinas, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico and lived in Salinas for the past 30 years. He retired after working many years in the Salinas Valley Agriculture. Jose was a very joyful person. He enjoyed music and spending time with his entire family. He will be dearly missed. Jose is survived by his wife of 55 years, Guillermina Orozco, his daughters, Olivia Meza, Zenaida Medina, Josefina, Rosa, Maria, Guadalupe, Nora, Celia, Erika, and Laura Orozco. His sons, Pedro and Carlos Orozco. Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. Brothers, David, Ismael, Froilan, and Melquiades Orozco, and sister, Carmen Orozco also survive. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other family members also survive him. Visitation will be held at Healey Mortuary on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, from 1 to 9 PM. Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Healey Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Natividad Church in Salinas. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
