Obituary of Julia Cole

Julia Edith Cole Julia “Edith” Cole, 95, longtime resident of Salinas, born February 19, 1916, passed away March 2, 2011 in Salinas. She was a member of Salinas Valley Baptist Church for over 50 years, and also of the O.E.S., Reville Chapter #47 of Salinas. Edith is survived by her sons John L. Cole of Fremont and Thomas C. Cole of Paso Robles, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Wanda Mocettini of Salinas, and sister-in-law Betty Baze Yates of El Centro. She is preceeded in death by her husband Tom J. Cole on Dec. 22, 1988, sisters Azilee Durham, Helen Patterson, Maxine Lumsden and Winona Baker, brothers William, Jr. and Arnold Yates. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5 11am at the Healey Mortuary Chapel 405 N. Sanborn Road Salinas, CA 93905. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
