Obituary of Leo Arredondo

Leo C. Arredondo, 94, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2011 in Madera, CA. He was born in Calipatria, CA. Leo was a truck driver by trade and dedicated to his profession well over forty years. Leo's greatest joys came from his loving family. He married the love of his life, Juanita (Blanco) Arredondo on October 22, 1937. They were married for over seventy-three years. Leo and Juanita were blessed with six children. Three sons and three daughters. He is survived by four siblings; brother Pedro Arredondo, and sisters Maria Luisa Arredondo, Mary Mesa and Lupe Coronado. He also leaves his loving wife Juanita, six children, Rachel (Reymundo) Jimenez, Leo B. (Violanda) Arredondo, Vera Arredondo, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Leo will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31 1-9pm with an Evening Prayer Service at 6pm at the Healey Mortuary Chapel. Graveside Services will be Friday, April 1 11am at Castroville District Cemetery 8442 Moss Landing Rd. Moss Landing, CA 95039.
