Obituary of Carter Corey
Carter J. Corey, Jr., passeda way on May 27, 2011 in Salinas. Carter was born in San Francisco, CA on Feb. 5, 1924. He graduated from the University of San Francisco (USF). He was a longtime resident of Salinas since 1971. Carter served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He then remained in the Air Force Reserve until the mid sixties and discharged from the reserves with the rank of Major. Carter was employed by General Motors Bay Area Zone office while living in Sunnyvale. He opened a local dealership in Salinas in 1971. He then went on to work in both Real Estate and insurance, retiring from Barlocker Insurance Services in 2003. Carter managed to find time to be an avid golfer for most of his life. He was a member of the Salinas Steinbeck and Rodeo Rotary Clubs.

No Services will be held at this time. An Inurnment at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery to take place.
