Obituary of Jaime Henriquez Pabon
Jaime Henriquez Pabon, 83, longtime resident of Salinas, died peacefully on June 6, 2011 at home. He was born on April 22, 1928 in Barrio Paris, Lajas, Puerto Rico.
Jaime was a retired Sargeant First Class of the U.S. Army. After his retirement, he worked for many years at the U.S. Post Office and at the County of Monterey. He was a member of Madonna del Sasso Parish, as well as a eucharistic minister, usher, member of the church choir and of "Angela's Angels" Senior Group. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #31 of Salinas.
He is survived by his
daughter, Mary and Manuel Carvalho
son, Jaime Luis and Deborah Henriquez
grandchildren
Manny Carvalho and his fiance, Celeste Toledo
Tony and Valerie Carvalho
Nicole and Carlos Henriquez
great-grandchildren
Angeline, Tony,Jr., and Patricia Carvalho
ten brothers and sisters
all residing in Puerto Rico
along with other loving relatives.
He is preceded in death by
his wife, Juanita Henriquez
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 1-9pm with a Rosary Recital at 6:30pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, June 10, 2011 1pm at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church 320 E. Laurel Dr. Salinas, CA 93906.
Burial with full Military Honors will follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 945 S. Main St. Ste. 210 Salinas, CA 93901.
