Obituary of Marianne Brownfield
Marianne L. Brownfield, 80, of Salinas, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 14, 2011. She was born on July 14, 1930 in Oakland, CA. Marianne was a former resident of Marina, where she operated the "Friendly Food Market" in the 1950's with her husband. She also worked for Val's Plumbing for several years. Marianne enjoyed crocheting Afghan blankets and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

her husband of 60 years, Charles Brownfield of Salinas

Paul (Becky) Brownfield of Prunedale
James (Annette) Brownfield of Salinas
brother, Jean Barbier of Salinas
grandchildren
Lacie (Ryan), Chad, Nicole,
Jenny, Ty, Brian, and David
great-granddaughter, Andie
numerous nieces, nephews
and other loving relatives.
She is preceded in death by
her 3 sisters,
Annette, Margurite and Georgette.
A Family Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Cremation to take place and an Inurnment to follow at the Mission Memorial Park in Seaside, CA.
