Obituary of T. McTighe

T. Allan McTighe passed away November 13, 2008 surrounded by his family, Barbara, his loving wife of fifty-three years, children, Bob (Nancy) of San Jose, Tom (Laura) of Fresno, Kathy Kohl (Jim) of Marina and Michael (Theresa) of Spreckels. Devoted Grandfather of Jon, Will and Jen McTighe, Rebecca Kohl Felt (Aaron), Megan and Mary Elizabeth Kohl and Maureen and Jake McTighe. Allan was preceded in death by his parents William and Cecilia McTighe and his siblings Dorothy Fowler and Will McTighe. He served in the Navy in the South Pacific during WWII with distinction receiving the Bronze Star and Victory Medal. After returning from the Service and graduating from College he began his forty-two year career in the pharmaceutical industry retiring in 1989. After retirement Allan and Barbara began their second career, spending time with family, traveling and attending daily Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. St. Josephʼs Church, Spreckels Blvd and Railroad Ave in Spreckels. Private interment San Carlos Cemetery, Monterey.
