Obituary of Paul Scettrini

Paul J. Scettrini, 86, of Salinas, passed away January 2, 2009. Paul was born in San Ardo, California on March 13, 1922, and spent most of his life in Greenfield, California. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy soon after graduating from King City High School and had served on an aircraft carrier. After his time in the service he worked as an electrician and received his 50 year pin in the Local 234 Electrician's Union. At this time, he was better known as "Swiss". Paul loved barbecuing, fishing, dancing, music and photography. He will be greatly missed. The family would like to "Thank" the staff at the DaVita Dialysis Clinic and those at Windsor The Ridge Rehab Center. Paul is survived by Wife Jeanne and children; George Yeager of Salinas, Sherry Yeager of Sedona, Arizona, Linda Varela of Salem, Oregon, and Ellen Thompson of Salinas. His children from a previous marriage; Paula Guidotti of Soledad, Stephen Scettrini of Soledad, Brenda Scettrini Saglio of Salinas, Twins Scott Scettrini of Soledad & Brent Scettrini of Prunedale, and Matt Scettrini of Salinas. Paul is also survived by numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. preceded in death by daughter, Rebecca Hurley and son, Allen Scettrini At Paul's request, no services will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. His ashes will be scattered near the family cabin at Lake Nacimiento, where he enjoyed for many years.
