Obituary of Evelyn Ramirez

Evelyn C. Ramirez, 78, longtime resident of Santa Clara County, passed away on April 29, 2012 in Milpitas. She was born on July 8, 1933 in Monterey, Californa. Evelyn enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening and was an avid S.F. Giants fan. She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Tony (Dawn) Ramirez of Morgan Hill Michael (Kelly) Ramirez of Phoenix, Arizona daughters, Valerie (Darrel) Poffenbarger of Milpitas Trina (Bob) Ruiz of Fremont brothers, Sonny (Janet) Reyes of Prunedale Ernie (Margie) Reyes of Santa Clara sisters, Polly De La Cerna of the Philippines Violet Andrade of Fremont Rosalie Greene of Fremont Gloria Stasik of Hawaii Juliette (Mel) Flores of Los Banos Ernestine (Michael) Galvin of San Carlos grandchildren, Chris (Monic) Ramirez, Ashley (Danny) Rico, Lauren Poffenbarger, Cole Poffenbarger, Kamron Ramirez and Brayden Ramirez great-grandchildren, Colin Ramirez and Ali Ramirez along with other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Ramirez her daughter, Patricia Ramirez Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 1-9pm with a Rosary recital 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 4, 2012 11am at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church 320 E. Laurel Drive Salinas, CA 93906.
