Guillermo Luna

Obituary of Guillermo Sanchez Luna

Guillermo is survived by his Wife, Gloria Grisales , his daughter, Gisel Grisales, and his son, Geffery Santiago Sanchez, all of the family home in Salinas. “Memo” as he was lovingly called, was a Christian since childhood. He always participated in children’s and youth ministries. Recently he was a member of Templo Rosa de Saron, where he served as a Deacon and Treasurer of the church Board. His greatest love was for God and then his family. He was a deeply caring man, whose presence lit up any room. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach. His hobbies included anything with technology. Many amazing words can be said about Memo but II Timothy best describes his life: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I remained faithful” He is also survived by his parents, Rafael and Guilllermina Sanchez of Mexico, and his sisters, Sandra, Veronica, Carolina, and Andrea Sanchez, all of Mexico. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other loving family. Guillermo was a graduate of Universidad de Guadalajara where he received his degree in International Business Affairs. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 3-9PM at Templo Rose de Saron, 826 No. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA 93905. An Evening Prayer Service will be held, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 5:30 PM at the Church. Graveside Services will be held Monday, May 7, 2012 at 10:30 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901.
