Romeo Torres, 46, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on August 1, 2012 in Salinas. He was born on September 16, 1965 in Ceres, California. He previously worked as a cook at the Cannery Casino for over 20 years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 1-9pm with a Rosary recital at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, August 6, 2012 10am at the St. Mary of the Nativity Catholic Church 424 Towt St. Salinas, CA 93905. Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
