Obituary of Rosita Rivera

Rosa was born on January 14, 1949 in Rio Hondo, Texas. She was the daughter of Guadalupe and Martina (Rios) Infante. Rosa died of natural causes and entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 23, 2009 at the age of 60. Rosa was a loving wife, caring mother and amazing sister. She never failed to make time for others, no matter the time of day. We will miss her kind spirit. She loved spending time with her family and reading her Bible every day. She believed in the good of others and had a generous heart. Rosa was a retired Retail Service Clerk from Mervyns. Family and friends will remember her as a tender, gentle, supportive woman who always had an encouraging word and lent a helping hand to all in need. For this, she has been given wings. The golden gates have opened and someone is waiting for her to be received. Rosa’s kind spirit will truly be missed and will forever remain in our hearts. Rosa is survived by her husband Jose Luis Rivera and son Robert Longoria. Rosa is also survived by sisters Lucia Soria of Harlingen, TX, Irene Martinez and Esperanza Guajardo of Salinas, CA, Emma Rodriguez of Menlo Park, CA, Martina Gonzalez of Weslaco, TX, brothers Pedro Infante of Stockton, CA, Ubo Infante of Modesto, CA, Guadalupe Infante Jr. of Salinas, CA and grandchildren Robert, Jose and Kayla Longoria.
