Obituary of Damaso Cardona

Damaso Cardona was born on December 28, 1928 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, but moved to California at an early age and worked at Smuckers for seventeen years. During his time working at Smuckers, he fell in love and married a wonderful woman, Carmen Rodriguez. He was happily married for forty-four years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and attending family gatherings. His never ending passion was baseball. From his early days of playing in a city league to relaxing on his Lazy Boy and watching his favorite team, San Francisco Giants, his passion for baseball stayed in his heart. He will be greatly missed and he will live forever in our hearts. She is survived by step-sons Heriberto Alba and Alfredo Rodriguez both of Salinas step-daughter Maria Alba of Salinas Preceded by Step-daughter Carmen Alba
