Obituary of Fred Sanchez

Our beautiful Angel has been called back home.  Fred Sanchez was born in Mexicali, Mexico.  He moved to Brawley, CA when he was a young boy and went to school through high school there.  He then attended Skadron College near San Bernardino and became a great accountant.  Fred moved to Salinas as a young adult, and has lived in Salinas every since.  Fred worked tirelessly to help others as both an Eligibility Worker and Employment Coordinator for the Monterey County Department of Social Services for 27 years.  Fred was an Icon, he helped everyone unconditionally and without expecting anything in return. 

Fred is survived by countless friends, many who are co-workers and was well known throughout the Salinas community.  Fred always had a smile on his face and his contagious laugh and spirit continue.  Fred is survived by his loving partner, mother, Tia Pina, Nino Luis, his brothers, sisters, countless relatives who love him and continue to honor him.
