Obituary of Alexia "Lisa" Vowles

Alexia "Lisa" Maria Vowles, 68, lifelong resident of Monterey county, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2018after a short illness. Lisa as she was fondly known, was a school bus driver for the North Monterey County Unified School District for over 42 years. She was well known and loved by many. 

Lisa is survived by her husband, Alfred Vowles, son, Alex Vowles and daughter, Stephanie Saavedra, granddaughters, Sylvanie Saavedra and Brooklyn and Jaden Vowels, sister, Marjorie Bradfield, brothers, Alejo and Valentino Alegre also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alejo and Margarita Alegre.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA  93905.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 12pm at the First Baptist Church of Prunedale 17716 Pesante Rd Prunedale, CA  9307.

Burial to follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA  93907.

Concluding all services, a Celebration of Lisa's Life will take place at the First Baptist Church of Prunedale.
