Obituary of Dorinda Monroe

Dorinda Monroe, 94, longtime resident of Salinas valley passed away on December 30, 2018 in Salinas. She was born on March 11, 1924 in Gibson, NC. Dorinda enjoyed being a homemaker, tending to her family.

Dorinda is survived by her son, James (Sharon) Robert Monroe, 4 step-children, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 18 step great-grandchildren, brothers, P.L. (Mazie) Adams Jr., and Archie Adams all of SC.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Monroe Jr., son, Roger L. Monroe III and parents, Lonnie and Nancy Adams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA  93905.

Graveside Services will take place on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at  10am at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA  93907. Burial to follow services.
