Obituary of William Cleveland Fields

William Cleveland Fields, fondly known as "W.C. Fields and Bill", left this physical world after a 24 year long illness on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, surrounded by family. Bill was born in Salinas on March 4, 1950 to Joe and Rose Fields. Bill spent his entire life in Salinas. He graduated from Alisal High School in 1968 and attended Hartnell College.

Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cheryl, daughters, Heidi (Simon) Olguin and Heather (Brian) Brammer; grandchildren, Danica, Caleb and Brayden Olguin, sisters, Virginia Roush and Mary Korsgaard along with numerous brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Rose Fields and his sister, Rosa Lee Fields.

Private Graveside Services have already been held.
