Roberto Antonio Macias , 42, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on Febraury 25, 2019 in Salinas, CA. He was born on June 7, 1976 in Jalisco, Mexico. Roberto previously worked in carpentry as a cabinet maker for many years.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth Juarez. Loving father of Osvaldo Maldonado, Leslie Macias, Andrea Macias, and Sebastian Macias. Proud grandfather of Angel Maldonado. Son of Rita and Jesus Macias. Roberto Macias was a dedicated and passionate person who put a little bit of himself into everything he did. He was a woodworker at PG Millworks who put his heart into every door and window he made and installed. He also was a committed church lecturer and member of a prayer group (Jesús Vive) at St. Mary of the Nativity Church. He was a foodie, classic rock enthusiast, soccer fan (Chivas), adventurer, optimist, and the greatest friend. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as the light of the room, prankster, humorist, hard worker, kindest heart, and most compassionate person.
Visitation will be held on Wed. March 13, 2019 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905.
Funeral Mass will take place on Thur. March 14, 2019 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church 424 Towt St. Salinas, CA 93905.
Burial to follow Services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Sailnas, CA 93907.
