Obituary of Leonardo Gayosso Tellez

Leonardo “Lalo” Gayosso Tellez passed away on February 9, 2021 in Salinas, California.  He was 42 years old.  Lalo was born on March 31, 1978 in Hidalgo, Mexico to Leonardo Gayosso and Josefina Naranjo.  He was raised in Santa Maria el Chico and Hidalgo, Mexico before moving to California. 

Lalo loved fishing and playing soccer.  He spent all his free time dedicated to his wife and children. 

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Macrina Garcia Merchant; their children, Brian Gayosso Garcia, Anthony Gayosso Garcia, and Stephanie Gayosso Garcia; and his granddaughter, Jessica Gayosso; and many other family and friends.

Lalo’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 23^rd at St. Mary’s Catholic Church beginning at 10am.
