Obituary of Teofila D. Munoz Loera

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teofila D. Muñoz Loera.

Teofila Delfina Muñoz Loera ,94, was born on February 6, 1927,in Duarte, CA. She passed peacefully at home in Bakersfield, CA surrounded by her loved ones on January 28, 2022.

Teofila is survived by three daughters, Guadalupe Valdez, Juventina Sanchez, Natividad Gonzalez, and sons Andres Loera, Ruben Loera, Jesus Loera, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and countless other loved ones. 

Teofila was preceded in death by her parents Andres and Guadalupe Muñoz, husband Jose Loera, daughter Ofelia Loera, sons Luis Loera and Fabian Loera.

Teofila was a kind, caring, hard working and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She will forever be missed and loved. 

Visitation will be held at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Sal/inas on February 11, 2022 from 1:00 P.M-5:00PM. A Rosary will be said at 4:00 PM. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M  Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St.Theodore Church in Gonzales, CA.  Burial will follow in the Gonzales Cemetery.
