Obituary of Nicholas Garcia Mercado

It is with profound sorrow that the family of Nicolas Mercado Garcia announce his peaceful passing on February 28th, 2023 at the age of 70 surrounded by his family and loved ones. Born in Jalisco Guadalajara Mexico on July 14th, 1952, son to Virginia Mercado and Nicolas Garcia Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 48 yrs. of marriage to Jane Amalla Garcia and children Nicolas Amalla Garcia Jr. and Alicia Amalla Garcia followed by his grandchildren Emily-Aidee Garcia Cox, Adam Rene Rostran, Caleb Martin Cisneros, Devin Garcia and step grandchildren Marcus Alec Cisneros, Andrew Alexander Campos and Evelyn Hailey Garcia. Nicolas was a wonderful devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Nicolas was a man of nobility, virtue, peace and calmness and will be extremely missed by many.

Funeral services will be conducted at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA  on March 9th, 2023.
