Obituary of Ralph Montez

On Tuesday, Spetember 5, 2023, Ralph Montez passed from this life at age 76.  He was born March 23, 1947 in Morrill, Nebraska.  Ralph retired from Prumo Trucking Company and Azevedo Cattle Company then moved to Tracy, California, where he passed away.  

Ralph is survided by his wife, Rebecca Montez, his sons, Geno Montez (Karen), Victor Montez, and Mario Montez, numerous grandchildren and great--grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  His siblings, Victoria Zazueta (Joe) Theresa Hill (William), Robert Espino (Pat) and Pilar Rose Acosta also survive him.  He was preceded in death by his son, Roman Angel Montez, daughter, Penny Lisa Montez, and mother Josaphine Acosta.

A Celebration of Ralph's Life will be offered 11:00 am Friday, September 22, at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road in Salinas, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. A Graveside Committal Service will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way in Salinas at 2:00 pm.
