Obituary of Shirley Christene Hunsaker

Shirley Christene Hunsaker, 79 of Salinas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 26, 2023.

She was born in Dyersburg, TN in 1944 to Arthur & Gradie Anderson.  Shirley loved spending time with her family and was a devout member of Echoes From Calvary Pentecostal Church of God.  Shirley graduated from North Salinas High School in 1964.  She was married to the love of her life, Dale Hunsaker for 40 years.

Shirley was preceeded in death by her husband, Dale E. Hunsaker Sr., her son, Dale E. Hunsaker Jr. (Gene), her sister, Brenda Jones and son in law, Daniel Swartout.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Hunsaker Swartout, brothers, Bobby Jackson, James Anderson, sister, Irine Derichsweiler, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Family and Friends whose lives Shirley touched are invited to attend the Memorial Service on January 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Celebration Church, 10 Simas Street, Salinas, CA
