Obituary of Carolina Chacon

Carolina R Chacon “Granny” 86 years old passed away on February 14, 2024 at her home with her family. 

Granny was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, excellent cook, seamstress, and the best pool player at American Legion Post 31. Carolina was the widow of Jose Chacon. They shared 60 years of marriage.  

Born in Fort Stockton, Texas she was a daughter of Bivian and Isabelle Ramirez. Carolina was preceeded in death by her husband Jose Chacon Sr and her son John Anthony Chacon. 

She is survived by her children, Jose and Diana Chacon, Elias Chacón, Virginia Pina and Johnny Jimenez; her gandchildren, Tony Chacon, Alaina Chacón, Eric Rodriguez, Francesca Lee, Danielle Pardo. Her Great Grandchildren: Evelyn Areinagea, Guadalupe Rubio, Juan Rubio, Maria Rubio, Carolina Rubio, Michelle, Noah, Alana Rodriguez, Raven Chacon, Gavin Chacon, Allison, Kylie, Haley Lee and Daniel, Evie Pardo also survive her. 

“Granny,” you will be forever missed. 

Visitation will be at Healey Mortuary on Monday. February 26, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  A funeral mass will be  on February 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church with burial following at Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
