Obituary of Catherine Ann Ramirez

Catherine Ann Ramirez, 69, of Salinas, Ca earned her wings on March 23, 2024 in Salinas, Ca.  She was born on June 23, 1954 in Stockton, Ca to Robert C. Ramirez and Lorraine Ramirez.

To know Cathy is to know how much she loved her dogs and her Harry Potter.

Cathy was a fun loving individual who was always happy and loved to tell jokes.  She had a very funny sense of humor.  She loved to watch her movies, play games on her phone, as well as listening to her oldies. 

She is known for her dancing.  She had the rhythm to any type of music and she really loved it.  Cathy was known to everyone as “mama cat”.

Catherine was a loving mother to her 5 children whom she loved dearly.  She would do anything for her children, but her favorite role was being a grandma to her 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who loved to call her “nana”.

Catherine Ramirez was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lorraine Ramirez, her grandson, Dante Jackson, and long life partner, Vincent Rivas.  She is survived by her children, Jessica, Freddie Jr., Valorie, Nancy, and Leticia and her sisters, Debbie, Rebecca, and Claudette, as well as her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Her viewing will be Thursday, April 25th from 1-6pm at Healey Mortuary.  Her Funeral will be Friday, April 26th from 11am-1pm also at Healey Mortuary, followed by burial at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Salinas,
