I only just learned of Fred's passing and was so saddened. He worked with me at Steinbeck Commons and was by far so much more than a maintenance supervisor. He was hilariously funny, told me so many stories of his life and was truly a dear friend to me and so kind to my daughter Cait. I am so sorry for his families loss as Fred was such a wonderful person and taught me so many lessons that I continue to pay forward to people I train today and I love using several of his one liners he used to tell me. Here's to a wonderful man - he truly is missed by us both.

To a brother firefighter whom I shared great memories when I was working for the City of Pacific Grove in the 1960's. I often think of the golden olden days of the volunteer fire department and all the many firefighters who share those memories. McAlister family you are in my thoughts.

You were the best father-in-law anybody could of asked for. Thanks for all that you did for us and the kids. I am thankful that you are resting now, sitting in your chair at the lake with a line in the water waiting for that "big" fish.
I will take care of your son, grand kids and mom.
I love you pops.
